New Policy in Effect

Oct. 02, 2019

In an effort to adhere to Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada guidelines in supporting the safety and well being of our players, all on-ice team staff/helpers MUST be declared on the HCR as well as completed their Respect in Sport (RIS) and submitted a Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the Registrar for approval. Guest instructors/trainers MUST also be approved by the Executive before they will be permitted on the ice with a team. If a team has non-approved helpers on the ice, the head coach will be subject to discipline by Game and Conduct. In the event that a team is unable to provide an on-ice coach or helper for a practice or game, please notify a member of the Executive and they will provide a replacement. If no replacement can be found, your team cannot practice or play. Under no circumstances should someone without their RIS or CRC be on the ice or bench with our players. Thank you for your commitment to keeping our players safe on and off the ice.
