New Policy in Effect
In an effort to adhere to Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada guidelines in supporting the safety and well being of our players, all on-ice team staff/helpers MUST be declared on the HCR as well as completed their Respect in Sport (RIS) and submitted a Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the Registrar for approval. Guest instructors/trainers MUST also be approved by the Executive before they will be permitted on the ice with a team. If a team has non-approved helpers on the ice, the head coach will be subject to discipline by Game and Conduct. In the event that a team is unable to provide an on-ice coach or helper for a practice or game, please notify a member of the Executive and they will provide a replacement. If no replacement can be found, your team cannot practice or play. Under no circumstances should someone without their RIS or CRC be on the ice or bench with our players.
