Award Nomination Process
Sturgeon Hockey Club values the recognition of our hardworking members including players, goalies, officials and volunteers. We are proud of their accomplishments and our awards are reflective of this.
For the 2023/24 Season, current SHC members can submit nominations until FEBRUARY 15, 2024.
Memorial Awards - Players, Goalies and Volunteers
For the player and goalie awards, SHC seeks nominations from the current SHC coaching staff. The nomination form is emailed.
Current SHC members are asked to submit nominations for volunteer awards. The nomination form is available on the webpage.
Awards will be presented in April with exception of Brenda Stewart Memorial Award that is presented at the Morinville Kings Brenda Stewart Memorial Game (October).

Fillies, Mustangs and Sting Awards
We seek nominations from the current SHC coaching staff. The nomination form is emailed.
Awards will be presented in April.
The recipient of these awards are selected by the Referee in Chief/Assignor.
Award nominations are reviewed by the Awards Committee. This committee is made up of members from the Board of Executives and Hockey Operations Committee.
