Virtual AGM
Dear SHC Families,
Our annual AGM is an opportunity for SHC to present our annual report, elect directors to our committees, and most importantly connect with all of the valued members of our Association.
Please read the following information from our Executive regarding our upcoming virtual AGM:

A link to attend this meeting was sent out to all 2020-2021 SHC members via email to pre-register before July 13, 2021.You must pre-register for this AGM in advance. If you are an SHC member and did not receive an email invite, please contact Amber Gagnon at communicationsdirector@sturgeonhockeyclub.com.
We are still seeking volunteer nominations for the following Director positions:
Executive Committee (2 Year Term) - voting
Vice-President
Secretary
Director of Game and Conduct (1 year term)
Director of Tournaments
Hockey Operations Committee (One Year Term) - non-voting
Referee in Chief
Referee Assignor
U7 Director
U9 Director
U11 Director
U13 Director
U18 Director
As SHC is operated by the help of volunteers and Directors are needed at all levels in order to ensure a timely start the season. Unfortunately, in the event that we do not have volunteers for these vacant positions, some levels may be unable to move forward with the hockey season. Please email secretary@sturgeonhockeyclub.com to submit your name for a Director position. Thank you in advance.
*Please note, election results will be presented at the AGM. SHC made a call for nominations on June 2, 2021 for Executive and Hockey Operations Committee positions. In the event that some Executive roles only receive one nomination, those candidates will be voted in by acclimation. SHC will accept nominations and poll members to vote in candidates for any positions that still remain vacant. In the event that there are no submissions for open positions, the current Executive will seek nominations during the AGM.
