Rangers Athletic Club Identification Camp
The Rangers Athletic Club will be hosting an identification camp for our U18AAA (2004, 2005, 2006 born) and U15AAA (2007 and 2008 born) teams for the upcoming season.
The camp will be located in Fort Saskatchewan on Saturday, April 23rd and Sunday, April 24th with skates located at the Dow Centennial Centre. The purpose of the ID camp is to provide prospective players an opportunity to interact with coaching staffs and other players as well as get some exposure to our elite RAC programs. Final team selection will not take place until tryouts in mid-August.
Each player will receive a minimum of three 1-hour skates with the U15AAA group having two skates on Saturday and one on Sunday. The U18AAA group will have one skate Saturday and two skates on Sunday. Cost of the camp will be $50.00. Skates will be run by our U18AAA head coach Brett Cox and our U15AAA head coach Tyson Munro.
Due to COVID protocols, we are limited to the amount of players we are able to have on the ice (maximum of 18, split into 2 groups). This email is intended to get an understanding of your players interest and we would ask that you please complete the attached survey to allow us to capture the pertaining information. The deadline to pre-register will be on Wednesday, April 14thth at 5 PM. After reviewing the interest and registration numbers, an email with official information and registration (including payment) will be provided to confirm your attendance on Friday, April 16th. Any players not selected to participate will also be notified.
