2025–2026

For the past three seasons, we’ve proudly maintained registration fees without any increases. However, for the upcoming 2025–2026 season, a fee adjustment has become necessary with a $50 increase at the U7 level and a $75 increase for the U9 to U18 divisions, due to several key factors such as:
Please know that we remain deeply committed to making hockey as accessible and affordable as possible for all families, while continuing to offer a well-organized and enriching experience for every player.
If you have any questions about SHC’s financial position or this fee adjustment, feel free to contact:

There are additional costs to playing hockey that are not included in your SHC registration fee. SHC hockey teams may engage in additional activities such as tournaments, extra practices, apparel, etc.
At the start of the season, each team is required to propose a budget to parents and conduct a vote to ensure the majority of families support the additional expenses.
Unfortunately, no. This is due to several factors, including each player's evaluation placement.
*Sibling requests will be considered, but not guaranteed, in all divisions.
Before you are able to register, you will need to fill out a Hockey Alberta Parent Declaration Form.

If financial circumstances become a barrier to a child’s involvement, we are committed to providing support to families.
Resources are available to help families with registration fees. More information is available in our Policy and Procedures Manual, Section 6: Financial Hardship Cases.
