PERMITS

Please apply for all permits and sanctions at least 5 business days in advance to ensure that your team will have proper authorization. If your application is received with less than 5 business days notice, your permit may be denied. If a team is caught playing without a permit/sanction, the Coach and Manager may be suspended.

TOURNAMENTS
  • All teams traveling to tournaments must obtain a TRAVEL PERMIT.
  • Teams hosting a tournament must obtain a TOURNAMENT SANCTION NUMBER.
  • All game sheets must be emailed to the Zone Discipline & Sanctions Coordinator (disciplinenorthcentral1@hockeyalberta.ca) within 24 hours.
  • If a suspension is issued, the GAME INCIDENT REPORT, and all necessary supporting documents must also be submitted within 24 hours to the Zone 3 Discipline & Sanctions Coordinator disciplinenorthcentral1@hockeyalberta.ca and CC'd to your SHC Level Director, SHC Game & Conduct, and SHC President. Do not allow a suspended player/coach to be on a roster until confirmation is received from the League.
EXHIBITION GAMES

All teams traveling to exhibition games must obtain a TRAVEL PERMIT. Teams hosting an exhibition game must obtain an EXHIBITION SANCTION NUMBER. All GAME SHEETS must be emailed to the Zone Discipline & Sanctions Coordinator (disciplinenorthcentral1@hockeyalberta.ca) within 24 hours.

PRACTICE OUTSIDE ZONE

No travel permit is required for travel to a practice outside our Zone as HA insurance has blanket coverage for practices.

TEAM FUNDRAISING

Teams must apply to the Director of Ways & Means for all team fundraising activities. Failure to do so may result in denial of future permit/sanction applications.
