FILLIES FEMALE HOCKEY PROGRAM
The Sturgeon Fillies represent the female hockey stream of the Sturgeon Hockey Club, providing girls with a place to learn, grow, and compete in a sport they love. What began just three seasons ago with a single U15 team has quickly expanded into one of the most exciting female hockey programs in the region.  For the upcoming 2025–2026 season, SHC is proud to be icing ten all-female teams, ranging from U7 to U18 .  Teams in the U9-U18 categories will participate in the Edmonton Federation Hockey League (EFHL).   This growth reflects our commitment to developing the female game and creating opportunities for players at every age and skill level.  The Fillies program is guided by the same core values that define the Sturgeon Hockey Club: teamwork, skill development, inclusion, and community pride. Our coaches and volunteers work to create a supportive environment where female athletes can build confidence, elevate their game, and form lasting friendships both on and off the ice.  Whether your daughter is stepping onto the ice for the first time or is a returning player looking to reach the next level, the Fillies program offers a welcoming and empowering space to grow as both a player and a person.
