2023 Hockey Alberta Member Grant
Hello SHC Families!
We are thrilled to announce that Hockey Alberta, along with the Hockey Alberta Foundation, have awarded Sturgeon Minor Hockey Association with a 2023 Hockey Alberta Member Grant.
This funding will be instrumental in the growth and development of both our Referee and Fillies programing for this year and many more to follow. Some of the plans for this funding include:
- future Referee and Fillies development clinics
- ID skates
- opportunity to send one official to the Hockey Canada Officiating Camp in British Columbia this upcoming summer (2024)
The grant wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and support of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, Hockey Alberta Foundation and Hockey Alberta. Their continued support of grassroots minor hockey initiatives in Alberta allows every kid in every community to be inspired to continue to grow their passion for the game of hockey. We can't thank the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, Hockey Alberta Foundation and Hockey Alberta enough for their support!
