Sturgeon Hockey Club Evaluation Schedule and Information
Good Evening U13 Parents and players,
My name is Tyler Pincemin and I will be your U13 Director this season. I look forward to a great year ahead for us all.
I am pleased to let you all know that we have received the dates for try outs! SHC wanted to get these out to parents and players early so that no one misses any dates. Please see below for times and any information that you may need prior to returning to the ice.
Try out dates are as follows:
Friday Sept 8th 7:00-8:00pm or 8:15-9:15pm GOALIES (groups are TBD) I will email groups as soon as I have received them.
Saturday Sept 9th 9:15-10:15 or 10:30-11:30 Skill Skates (groups are TBD) I will email groups as soon as I have received them.
Sunday Sept 10th 11:45-12:45 or 1:00-2:00 Scrimmage (groups are TBD) I will email groups as soon as I have received them.
Monday Sept 11th 5:30-6:30 or 6:45-7:45 Scrimmage (groups are TBD) I will email groups as soon as I have received them.
Tuesday Sep 12th 7:00-8:00 or 8:15-9:15 Scrimmage (groups are TBD) I will email groups as soon as I have received them.
All tryouts will be held at the MLC. Please keep in mind that if your player(s) will be trying out for Sting, they do not attend any house try outs unless they have been released by Sting.
Also coming soon will be the conditioning skates for all players. The schedule has not been released for dates or times as of yet but should take place the week before try outs. If you are able to help on ice for the conditioning skates, please let me know and I can forward all the information once it has been released.
SHC is also pleased to announce that all evaluations will be conducted by Bar Down. They will be providing all on-ice instructors and off ice evaluators for all age groups this year. As we only have limited time with this group, please ensure that your players can be at each skate for a fair try out. We do understand that illness, injuries and pre-planned vacation happen, but encourage all players to be on the ice. If your player cannot make it, please contact me ASAP.
