U13 (2011-2012)
U13 Evaluation Volunteers Required
Good day Everyone
There is just a few things that Bar Down has asked us to go over or relay with the parents regarding evaluations and positions that can hopefully be volunteered for over the next week or so to ensure a smooth and more importantly, successful process for us all.
Volunteer positions that will be required are as follows:
- Handing out and recording jersey numbers to players upon their arrival at the arena
- Receiving jerseys back from players after each skate as they exit the arena
- For scrimmages, 2-4 coaches/parents running the benches and opening gates for the players
- A parent to work the score clock, and buzz every minute to signal a line change
- A coach/ref on the ice to ensure the flow of the game and call offsides, icing, penalties etc..
Also we have been asked to remind parents that they will not know what group their child will be skating in the next day until later in the evening or even possibly early the next day, so please be prepared on short notice. You have the dates and times already , they will just have to determine what group your child is in based on the previous skates.
